MOJO News is an independent organisation run by Monash University students of journalism, media and communication. Our mission is to break news and to report in-depth on vital issues across a range of topics, developing tomorrow’s journalists in the process. 

Previously known as Spectrum, MOJO News was once edited by professional journalists and staff. In 2014 a decision was made to hand over the editing to the students, and 2016 saw the launch of the Monash Media Lab — with a 'digital inspired' rebrand and the introduction of radio and TV. 

MOJO News has met with great success, with a number of alumni going on to win Ossie, Quill and Walkley awards and to work for major media organisations across the country and abroad.
