BY LAURA SCHMIDT

Former Adelaide breakfast show presenter Amos Gill is back on the local comedy circuit this year with his new show Almost Famos, after putting himself on the US comedy club circuit map last year.

An hour of non-sanitised material is what people can expect from Gill's amusing show full of personal and embarrassing stories.

From his childhood in Adelaide and Perth, difficulties dealing with his mum and stepdad to his disappointing encounter with a US porn star, Gill kept it real and made the audience laugh non-stop.

He makes fun of modern society's sensitivity by touching on topics such as climate change, charities interests, the LGBTQ+ community, gender inequality, sexual assault, and politics.

By turning awkward situations into something immensely funny, the hilarious comedian ensured his audience left the room with their abdominals aching from laughter.

It’s clear in Almost Famos that Gill is a seasoned comedian who masters audiences with confidence.

Gill was in Melbourne as part of the Melbourne International Comedy festival and is in Sydney as part of the Sydney Comedy Festival.
