Culture Vultures go to Versailles, and take on the relevance of SBS

SBS promoted the new drama Versailles as a cross between Downtown Abbey and Game of Thrones. The drama follows the story of King Louis XIV as he takes his place on the throne and dreams of building the palace at Versailles. The Culture Vultures checked it out to see how it lives up to the the standard. In part two, we discuss the role of SBS in the internet age. For this episode, veteran Vultures WILL ARNOTT and DIANA HODGETTS are joined by BILAL AHMED SYED.

Bilal Ahmed Syed is in his second year of his Bachelor of Journalism. He has worked with Radio Monash, written for Lot's Wife and is a reporter for Mojo TV. Has a passion for news presenting and investigative Journalism.

William Arnott is in his second-year studying journalism at Monash University. He enjoys a wide variety of geeky things, from video games and tabletop RPGs to power metal, and hopes to one day earn a living from them.

Diana Hodgetts is the business section editor of mojonews.com.au. She graduated from Swinburne’s Film and TV course with honors in 2013 and has worked on feature films and reality television. She is completing a Master of Journalism and International Relations.
