It was extremely hard to escape the cold this week. Streetegists everywhere are layering up with different textures and oversized scarfs.

Scarves can make a lot of difference to your outfit and your warmth. You can find them in so many different colours, prints and textures.

Oversized scarves are featuring on campus, masquerading as blankets to help Streetegists become windproof. Check out these looks for how to keep comfy and stay stylish at the same time.

All of our Streetegists have taken their scarves to the next level, with bright colours, prints and extra length. I call it blanket chic. If you can’t wrap it around you twice like a blanket, you’ll need a bigger one.

Jessica has stayed minimal and chic with her grey sweater and ribbed scarf. The neutral tones all compliment each other. Her scarf is even hand-made! This would be a great hobby to start over the cold winter holidays.

Isabel and Yui have have gone for contrasting prints and colours in their outfits, making their styling sizzle.

If you tend to wear all black, opt for a scarf with an entertaining print like Yue and Queena. They have chosen to make their scarfs be the focal point in their outfit.

Main styling tip for the winter: build up your accessory collection. If you’re not warm enough, try and find some accessories to help. Scarfs, hats, beanies and gloves are always there to keep you nice and toasty throughout the winter.
