Mojo goes to Rio – catch up on and look forward to some fantastic competition
Catch up on huge week in Rio with ALEX HATZIKOSTAS and mojo's sports editor MATT JOHNSON. And thankfully, it's not just about the Aussies.
In the first episode of We Go to Rio, Alex and Matt confront what is arguably the biggest news story to hit the Olympics thus far: the bubbling feud between swimmers Mack Horton and Sun Yang. They then dive deep into the Matildas' chances of winning their first knockout match against Brazil, before unpacking the chaos that has hit the men's and women's tennis singles draws.
Tumbling over to gymnastics, they analyse just how tremendous the US women's gymnastics team is, and then it's a quick dash over to a preview of the upcoming athletics competition, focusing on the battle between sprinters Usain Bolt and Justin Gatlin.

Matt Johnson is the sports editor at mojonews.com.au, and is studying a Bachelor of Arts with majors in journalism and communications. When he isn't taking photos out on a sporting field or using social media for the greater good, he's constantly consumed by wanderlust.
