Peace of mind, friends, family and freedom – a refugee's search in poetry
Abe Nouk was illiterate when he arrived Australia as a refugee from Sudan. Today he is a spoken word poet, a writer, and he works as a community educator for Sudanese youth in Australia. Nouk recently visited Monash Clayton for a spoken word workshop. ALEX McKENZIE talks to Nouk, and shares some inspirational moments from the workshop.
