Matt Groening’s latest cartoon endeavour Disenchantment  has clearly found favour with Netflix, with a new two-part season ordered this week, though it won't hit screens until 2020.

Disenchantment follows the misadventures of princess Tiabeanie and sidekicks Luci and Elfo in a Medieval landscape. The 10 episodes that formed part one of the first series were released on August 14, with with the second part not due to be screened until next year.

Groening fans were expecting big things from Disenchantment. However, after a lacklustre beginning, the plot only begins to captivate in the final three episodes.

Here's a review that looks at what the fuss is all about.
