Starting a family is a milestone for many people, but the journey to holding a newborn can be filled in equal measures with joy, hope, loss and grief.

Expectant mother Deanne has spent the past five years experiencing all of these emotions as she pursues her dream of motherhood.

Pregnant for the fifth time, she now faces an anxious wait, as doctors place her on bedrest with 17 weeks between now and her due date.
