A new program that aims to reduce the huge number of single-use coffee cups in use is helping to turn the tide. SIJIA HUANG reports
Even though the awareness has grown in recent years of the issues surrounding waste recycling, the majority of one-use coffee cups still end up in the recycling bins.
To reduce the usage of disposable cups, several cafes have registered to join a program that promotes the use of reusable cups by offering incentives to the customers.
