Billed as the biggest cultural event in Australia, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival will attract an audience of more than 650,000 people over the next few weeks. One of the popular, free events is the (Very) Big Laugh Out, which takes over Federation Square every day during the festival, from March 28 to April 20. Aimed at families, this free event is particularly popular during school holidays. International and local acts guest star, including MCs Kiki & Pascal, Tony Roberts, Sharon from Canada, the Listies, the Strong Lady and the Butterfly Glee club. CHANG LIU takes a look at the offerings.
