Volunteers – the beating heart of the CFA
It's not even summer yet, but the bushfire season has already begun. The livelihood and safety of those in Victoria's countryside are in the hands of those who work at the CFA.
As we head into the summer months those in Victoria's countryside start to become less concerned with Tinder and more worried about the threat of bushfires. Officially established in 1945, the CFA helps protect those in their local communities by providing firefighting and emergency services. Reporter ANNELIESE WILSON hit the road to meet the people behind the scenes.
